Photographer MAURIN BISIG‘s has chosen analog photography as his modus operandi. “There is more to it working manually, analog with negative film. You are holding something in your hands. You change a roll of film. You process the negative and print in the lab. Analog reflects my personality.” A trained mason, Bisig first started taking pictures of his local ski and snowboard freestyle community when he suffered an injury and wasn’t able to ride. Born and raised in the Swiss mountains, Bisig now travels the word documenting the local Lions Club project “We Serve”. His first book FORWARD captures his journeys from Finland to Gambia, Jamaica and back to the heart of Switzerland.
